Department of Church Growth & Development The A.M.E. Zion Church: Planting on Purpose

Dear Zion Family,

The Department of Church Growth & Development of The A.M.E. Zion Church is excited to announce an exciting new learning opportunity—Planting on Purpose, kicking off Tuesday, February 24th @7PM (EST).  Rev. Nathaniel Cox, Rev. Dr. R. J. Chandler, and Presiding Elder Scot Moore team up to lead this dynamic course designed to equip, empower, and inspire those who are passionate about intentional and sustainable church planting.

Based on our first-ever church planting manual and led by its authors, these sessions will provide practical insights, proven strategies, and spiritual wisdom for those who have recently planted churches, aspire to plant, or desire to support new church plants.

Session Dates (7:00 PM EST):

  • February 24
  • March 24
  • April 2
  • May 19

This is more than a class—it’s an investment in the future of ministry and a chance to grow alongside leaders who share a heart for expanding God’s kingdom. We encourage pastors, leaders, planters, and ministry supporters to attend and invite others who would benefit.

We look forward to learning and growing together!
