The Department of Church Growth & Development: Preserving Black Churches Grant Program

Greetings Family!

The National Trust for Historic Preservation is now accepting applications for their Preserving Black Churches Grant program. Annual grants from Preserving Black Churches are intended to preserve historic Black houses of worship and advance ongoing preservation activities while strengthening capacity for historic congregations, and preservation and community organizations to steward, manage, and better utilize their historic structures. Grants from Preserving Black Churches range from $50,000 to $500,000.   The application period is Monday, August 4 - September 12, 2025 at 5:00 PM (EST).  Links to more information about this opportunity are below.

The Department of Church Growth & Development is here to help you through the process. The Department will host an information session on Monday, August 11th at 8:00 PM (EST).  Zoom information for that session is below.
